About the Opportunity
Join the International SOS Quality, Health & Safety Compliance team in Johannesburg as a Quality Intern. Key Responsibilities
As a Quality Intern, you will:
– Maintain Quality Management System documentation and compliance records.
– Manage document control, filing, archiving, and general administration.
– Coordinate internal audits and maintain audit evidence.
– Track audit findings and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
– Collect and consolidate operational compliance data.
– Prepare weekly and monthly reports and develop dashboards.
– Identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
– Support Quality and Occupational Health & Safety induction and training programs.
– Maintain training records and monitor training completion.
– Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support team projects.
– Assist with meeting administration, including taking minutes and tracking action items.
Requirements/Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
– Grade 12 and be currently studying towards or have recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in fields such as Quality Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Business Management, Health Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Industrial Psychology.
Skills and Qualifications Advantageous
– Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, Internal Auditor training, Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint.
Experience Requirements
Candidates with up to one year of experience in administration, compliance, quality management, auditing, operations support, customer service, or healthcare administration are encouraged to apply. Previous internship experience, vacation work, or volunteering in relevant fields will be beneficial.
