What You’ll Do

• Maintain and develop the facility garden, ensuring it is well-kept and vibrant
• Clean surroundings, including pathways, parking areas, and gutters
• Prepare soil for planting trees, flowers, and shrubs
• Water gardens and maintain grass and other plant life
• Remove weeds and debris from garden beds
• Move furniture and equipment as needed
• Operate and care for garden machinery and equipment
• Adhere to safety regulations while performing all tasks
• Complete any additional duties as assigned by your supervisor

What You’ll Need

• ABET Level 4 or NQF Level 1 to 3
• Physical strength and health to manage the demands of the role
• Experience in gardening or formal cleaning environments is preferred
• Ability to cope with various weather conditions
• Teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Flexibility to rotate to different areas as needed
