What You’ll Do
- Maintain and develop the facility garden, ensuring it is well-kept and vibrant
- Clean surroundings, including pathways, parking areas, and gutters
- Prepare soil for planting trees, flowers, and shrubs
- Water gardens and maintain grass and other plant life
- Remove weeds and debris from garden beds
- Move furniture and equipment as needed
- Operate and care for garden machinery and equipment
- Adhere to safety regulations while performing all tasks
- Complete any additional duties as assigned by your supervisor
What You’ll Need
- ABET Level 4 or NQF Level 1 to 3
- Physical strength and health to manage the demands of the role
- Experience in gardening or formal cleaning environments is preferred
- Ability to cope with various weather conditions
- Teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to rotate to different areas as needed
