What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to mental health patients and those living with HIV/AIDS.
• Utilise resources effectively to ensure optimal patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional growth and maintain ethical standards.
• Offer support to nursing services and participate actively in training programs.
• Contribute to research efforts aimed at improving healthcare practices.

What You’ll Need

• A Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or an equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
• Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• For Grade 2: At least 10 years of recognisable nursing experience post-registration.
• For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of recognisable nursing experience post-registration.
• Knowledge of Provincial HIV/AIDS/STI/TB programmes and the associated strategic plans.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Care Act and Nursing Act.
