What You’ll Do

  • Provide holistic nursing care to patients in palliative care settings
  • Ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards in nursing practice

What You’ll Need

  • Basic R425 qualification or equivalent allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse
  • Alternatively, a 4-year Bachelor Degree in Nursing that qualifies for SANC registration
  • Grade 1: No experience required; Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years post-registration nursing experience; Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years post-registration nursing experience
  • Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse
  • Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, night duty, and perform overtime as required
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and Outlook
  • Strong knowledge of nursing and public service legislation and policies
  • Good leadership and people management skills
