What You’ll Do
- Support clerks in enhancing their technical skills in data collection.
- Provide assistance to trainers to strengthen training program evaluation components.
- Ensure the correct and consistent use of data tools.
- Monitor data collection processes and ensure data integrity for reporting.
- Analyze training reports and address identified gaps.
- Collaborate with health and social care teams for clinical training decisions.
- Disseminate updates and guidelines related to training.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary quality assurance teams.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage nursing personnel allocations and staff development opportunities.
- Handle grievances and labor relations in accordance with policies.
- Oversee duty rosters, leave schedules, and attendance records.
- Ensure compliance with nursing licensure for all staff.
- Contribute to the development of the business plan and resource allocation.
What You’ll Need
- Matric and a basic R425 qualification or a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Registration as a Professional Nurse and Midwife with SANC.
- A diploma or degree in Nursing Education and Nursing Management or Nursing Administration.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant nursing experience, with at least 3 years at a management level.
- Valid driver’s license and computer literacy.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing strategy, clinical programs, and health policies.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to extended hours.

Requirements
Matric plus basic R425 qualification (i.e.
diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse in General Nursing.
OR - A 4-year Bachelor Degree in Nursing (R174) that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse in General Nursing.
Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse and Midwife.
Diploma/Degree in Nursing Education and Nursing Management or Nursing Administration, registered with SANC.
A minimum of 8 years appropriate or recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse in General N with the SANC General Nursing.
At least 3 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate or recognisable experience at management level and human capacity building.
Valid Drivers license.
Computer literacy.
Knowledge And Skills: Facilitation and communication skills (written and verbal).
In-depth knowledge and understanding of nursing strategy of practice and nursing standards.
Knowledge of all clinical programmes, including WBPHCOT programme.
Driving skill.
Basic understanding of HR and financial policies and practices.

Job Duties
Support the clerks to increase their technical capacity in data collection Provide support to Trainers to strengthen monitoring & evaluation components of their training programs Ensure consistent and correct use of data tools Monitor data collection, collation.Storage, analysis and reporting ensuring that data is audit worthy Analyse the training reports and address gaps.
Collaborate with members of the health and social care teams to participate in decision-making pertaining to clinical trainings.
Consult within the multi-disciplinary health teams, organizations and special interest groups when dealing with community health issues and needs.
Disseminate guidelines and new updates and developments related to training.
Participate in multi-disciplinary quality assurance task teams.
Participate in peer review based on the agreed upon quality assurance monitoring indicators and training tools.
Monitor the Provincial Master training plan Develop and implement quality improvement plans.
Identify and develop nursing interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
Analyse reports from evaluation forms post trainings and give feedback to the Trainers.
Provide the Management with an ongoing comparison of the current reported performance outcomes against planned targets.
Analyse staffing needs and develop a plan to meet the needs · Allocate nursing personnel in different units.
Monitor the implementation of the PMDS.
Carry out regular reviews and explore opportunities for professional development and ensure training and development of staff.
Deal with grievances and labour relations issues in terms of the laid down policies/procedures i.
e.
manage workplace discipline.
Compile and control duty roster, leave schedules and attendance register.
Monitor and ensure that all nurses are licensed to practice.
Participate in the development of the business plan and promote or identify ways of containing health care costs without 119 compromising standards.
Motivate for relevant material resources.
Manage and control assets.
Develop the business plan in line with the strategic plan · Ensure proper implementation of the budget by monitoring, projecting and reporting expenditure.
Ensure that spending is maximised in line with strategic objectives.
