What You’ll Do

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
  • Develop project work plans and adjust them as necessary to meet evolving needs
  • Identify and allocate resources effectively, assigning responsibilities to team members
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure adherence to project scope and standards
  • Provide financial management and accounting services related to project budgets
  • Prepare reports on project progress for the Chief Construction Project Manager
  • Liaise with service providers, clients, and management to facilitate effective communication
  • Contribute to HR activities and maintain project documentation and records
  • Conduct research on new technologies and methodologies relevant to project management

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 Certificate and a National Higher Diploma in a Built Environment field
  • Minimum of 4 years and 6 months certified experience, or a BTech with 4 years’ managerial experience
  • An Honors Degree in a Built Environment field with at least 3 years’ experience
  • Registration with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) as a Professional Construction Project Manager
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
  • Strong decision-making and team leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in computer applications and financial management
