About the Role
The Department of Health is looking for a dedicated Production Level Clerk to join its Human Resource Development team at the Provincial Office in Kimberley. This role is essential as it supports the effective implementation of the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP), which is vital for the continuous development of healthcare professionals in the region. What You’ll Do
- Provide general clerical support services to the HRD unit.
- Implement and monitor the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP).
- Coordinate training logistics including venue bookings and preparation of training materials.
- Maintain attendance registers and HRD databases.
- Capture and update HRD information on PERSAL and other internal systems.
- Register and route correspondence as needed.
- Assist with the administration of bursaries, internships, and learnership programs.
- Compile basic training reports and statistics.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
- A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, or Public Administration is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative abilities.
- Basic knowledge of clerical duties and practices.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.
