What You’ll Do

• Wheel patients to and from wards, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Transport patients to various service areas, including operating theatres.
• Deliver equipment, documentation, and specimens to appropriate departments.
• Collect and transport corpses to the mortuary with care and respect.
• Maintain cleanliness of stretchers and wheelchairs after each use.
• Report faulty or broken equipment to your supervisor immediately.
• Assist in rendering mortuary services and maintain accurate records of received and released corpses.
• Safeguard equipment and ensure it is kept clean and functional.

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 3 (Grade 10 certificate or equivalent).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• A willingness to work shifts and handle pressure effectively.
• A sound knowledge of customer care principles.
