What You’ll Do
- Administer the processing of employee leave applications, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
- Manage the processing of pension benefits for retirees, providing support and guidance throughout the procedure.
- Oversee the administration of compensation claims and employee benefits, assisting staff in understanding their entitlements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employee services, aligning with legal and departmental requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to improve HR processes and ensure seamless service delivery.
What You’ll Need
- A matric certificate along with an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field recognized by SAQA.
- A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
- A solid understanding of the legislative framework governing the public service, including the Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, PFMA, and Labour Relations Act.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with colleagues and service users.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, along with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR systems and a capability to lead and manage team dynamics effectively.
