What You’ll Do
- Process appointments and transfers for departmental employees
- Manage exit procedures and documentation
- Attend to leave matters, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Process long service awards and incidents of occupational injuries (IODs)
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless HR operations
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- A valid Driver’s licence
- Knowledge of Public Service prescripts, legislation, and policies related to HR management
- Familiarity with HR systems, including PERSAL
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills

Requirements
The ideal candidate must be in possession of a Senior Certificate/ Grade 12 with no experience required and a valid Driver’s licence.
Essential Knowledge, Skills And Competencies Required: The successful candidate must have knowledge of: Knowledge of the Public Service prescripts; Legislation; Policies and collective agreements relating to HRM; Practical demonstration of knowledge in key responsibility area; HR systems and their relation to other systems within the Department; PERSAL; Interpersonal relations; Policy interpretation; Presentation skills; Problem solving; Decision making; Good communication skills (verbal and written) with other departments, private sector, public and officials from the department and Computer literacy.
Job Duties
The successful candidate will be required to render conditions of service for employees of the department with the following key responsibilities: - Process appointments and transfers; Process exits; Attend to leave matters; Process long service awards and IOD’s.
Salary
R237 453 per annum (Level 05)
