What You’ll Do

  • Organize and maintain the manager’s schedule, prioritizing appointments and engagements.
  • Prepare reports, documents, and agendas for meetings, ensuring all necessary materials are available.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for the manager.
  • Manage and maintain office equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is in working order.
  • Handle the procurement of standard items and manage the unit’s budget documentation.
  • Collect, analyze, and compile information as requested by the manager.
  • Record minutes of meetings and follow up on action items to ensure progress is made.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all communications.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Secretarial, Office Administration, Management, or a related qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting senior management.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sound organizational abilities.
  • High reliability and strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with individuals at different levels and backgrounds.
  • Good grooming, self-management, and motivation.
