What You’ll Do

  • Operate and manage the digipath for printing jobs, including sensitive documents
  • Generate and lay out all printing jobs, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Archive and retrieve print jobs efficiently, maintaining records securely
  • Provide advice to clients on printing formats, layouts, and finishing requirements
  • Receive and check exam papers digitally, ensuring correct sequencing
  • Handle damaged or spoiled question papers appropriately
  • Report on error logs from the plastic wrapping machine and provide feedback to supervisors
  • Monitor the status of completed work and communicate effectively with team members
  • Oversee the finishing of printed documents to meet quality specifications
  • Ensure the proper storage of printing materials on the server
  • Manage the dispatch of printed documents, including sensitive materials
  • Maintain security at access points in the printing room and assist with public access

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 10 (or equivalent)
  • Certificate in Digital and Analogical Copier
  • Knowledge of operating digital printers and related equipment
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication abilities
  • Proficient computer literacy and numeracy skills
  • Understanding of cultural protocol and public relations
  • Attention to detail and accuracy even under pressure
  • Problem-solving skills
