What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a State witness in court when required, reinforcing the importance of workplace safety.

What You’ll Need

  • A three-year tertiary qualification in Civil & Construction Engineering.
  • A valid driver’s license to facilitate travel for inspections and investigations.
  • Knowledge of departmental policies, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and related legislation.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills, along with effective communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and various communication methods.
  • Skills in facilitation, negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
