What You’ll Do

  • Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care to patients with various conditions.
  • Foster a positive patient experience aligned with the department’s value system.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate qualification for registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Emergency Medicine.
  • For Grade 1: No experience required post-registration; for Grade 2: A minimum of 5 years’ experience; for Grade 3: A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Medical Specialist.
  • A valid South African driver’s license.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in supervising healthcare staff.
  • Strong knowledge of public health policies and guidelines.
  • Basic computer literacy for documentation and communication purposes.
