KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Local Market Intelligence & Insights
Purpose: Give Head Office a clear, real-time view of the Cape Town market.
1. Track competitor promotions and marketing activity.
2. Share insights on customer behaviour, local trends, and regional opportunities.
3. Report on the performance of local campaigns and customer engagement.
4. Identify opportunities for collaborations, events, and community partnerships.
Brand Consistency & Compliance
Purpose: Ensure the branch reflects the brand accurately and consistently.
1. Check that all in-store and digital materials follow brand guidelines.
2. Maintain alignment with Head Office marketing standards.
3. Verify that promotional pricing, messaging, and signage are correct and up to date.
Store Marketing Coordination
Purpose: Strengthen communication between the branch and Head Office.
1. Serve as the primary marketing contact for the Cape Town branch.
2. Coordinate the rollout of national campaigns at store level.
3. Communicate campaign timelines, requirements, and updates to store teams.
Content Planning & Scheduling
Purpose: Build consistent, engaging digital content.
1. Assist with planning and scheduling social media content.
2. Capture and upload content for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms.
3. Identify and coordinate content opportunities (new stock, promotions, customer moments).
Customer Engagement & Community Presence
Purpose: Boost local visibility and customer connection.
1. Engage with customers via social media and WhatsApp.
2. Support local events, promotions, and community activations.
3. Encourage user-generated content and customer testimonials.
Visual Merchandising Support
Purpose: Elevate in-store marketing impact.
1. Assist with visual merchandising displays.
2. Ensure promotional areas are correctly set up and visually appealing.
3. Maintain high visual standards aligned with current campaigns.
Administrative Marketing Support
Purpose: Keep marketing operations running smoothly.
1. Maintain records of marketing materials and promotional assets.
2. Assist with ordering and tracking marketing materials from Head Office.
3. Coordinate delivery and installation of signage and campaign elements.
4. Support the Cashback Loyalty Programme.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Grade 12
2. Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
3. 1–3 years’ experience in marketing, retail marketing, or brand support.
4. Experience with Instagram, TikTok, and basic content creation/scheduling.
5. Strong communication and coordination skills across teams.
6. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to capture content and support digital marketing activities.
8. Creative mindset with an eye for branding, visual merchandising, and in-store marketing.
9. Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working independently onsite.
10. Willingness to support events, promotions, and community initiatives.
11. Graphic design skills are an advantage.
12. Must have a good-quality phone (preferably an iPhone) for filming content.
RUMUNERATION
R12,000 To R15,000 Per Mont (Negotiable on experience)
