What You’ll Do
- Maintain an action plan for road maintenance activities
- Provide guidance and direction on work performance to your team
- Identify maintenance gaps and propose effective solutions
- Conduct routine checks on maintenance works to ensure compliance
- Prepare periodic reports detailing maintenance activities
- Formulate road maintenance proposals based on policy analysis
- Support and monitor the implementation of action plans
- Enhance team capacity by identifying training needs and facilitating training
- Conduct on-the-job training for team members
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12/Matric and an appropriate Trade Diploma
- A minimum of three (03) years’ experience in road work maintenance
- Valid driver’s license (except for applicants with disabilities)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective decision-making and team leadership abilities
- Knowledge of public service regulations and frameworks
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Ability to manage people and plan effectively
- Understanding of machinery and occupational safety acts
