What You’ll Do

• Provide education and training to student nurses.
• Coordinate clinical learning exposure between college and clinical areas.
• Conduct clinical accompaniment of nursing students.
• Oversee the teaching and learning processes of nursing programmes.
• Develop and implement quality assurance programmes for nursing education.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance educational outcomes.
• Supervise and support students in their nursing practice.
• Participate in the development and review of undergraduate nursing curricula.
• Implement new nursing programmes in alignment with SANC and CHE regulations.
• Facilitate Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities at the Campus.
• Engage actively in the governance structures of the College.
• Promote the image and mission of the College within the community.

What You’ll Need

• Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent allowing registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• A post-basic nursing qualification in Nursing Education accredited with SANC.
• Minimum of 4 years nursing experience for Grade 1 or 14 years for Grade 2 post-registration with SANC.
• Valid Code B/EB driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
• Strong communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of nursing education programmes, relevant legislation, and policy frameworks.
• Proficiency in teaching and assessment in Nursing Education.
• Excellent conflict management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Good research, analytical, managerial, and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy.
