What You’ll Do

• Provide technical survey services and support for the examination and maintenance of survey documents.
• Conduct surveys and perform necessary computations to ensure accurate land measurements.
• Promote safety in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate existing plans and technical manuals to incorporate new technologies.
• Develop and implement databases and maintain operational plans for survey activities.
• Supervise and control candidate survey technicians and related personnel.
• Compile and submit detailed reports as required.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with new survey techniques.

What You’ll Need

• National Diploma (NQF 6) in Survey or Cartography or a relevant qualification.
• Valid registration with the South African Council for Professional and Technical Surveyors (PLATO) or the South African Geomatics Council (SAGC) as a Survey Technician/Surveyor.
• A minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification technical (Survey) experience.
• Strong competencies in project management, survey design, and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid driver’s licence and the ability to manage technical teams effectively.
