What You’ll Do

• Administer daily payments of approved benefit claims to eligible beneficiaries
• Support the verification of open vouchers and assist in gathering relevant financial information
• Contribute to financial reporting on benefits payments
• Validate beneficiary claims, ensuring compliance with established policies and directives

What You’ll Need

• An undergraduate qualification in Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Management, Public Finance Management, Business Management, Economics, or Auditing at NQF Level 6 as recognized by SAQA
• No prior experience required; this internship is designed for individuals seeking to gain practical experience
• Familiarity with financial management principles and relevant legislation, including the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and Unemployment Insurance Act
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic computer literacy and ability to manage time effectively
