About the Opportunity
Join the Electoral Commission (IEC) for a 24-month internship in the Electoral Matters division. This program is designed to provide graduates with practical skills in logistics and electoral operations, offering a monthly stipend of R11,067.61. The role is based at the Eastern Cape Provincial Office in East London.

Key Responsibilities
– Logistics & Electoral Operations: Draft specifications, liaise with suppliers, manage warehousing and inventory, support by-elections, and assist with electoral initiatives.
– Administrative Duties: Take minutes, write reports, prepare presentations, manage correspondence, and coordinate meetings.

Requirements/Qualifications
– Grade 12 (Matric) and a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Logistics or Warehouse Management.
– Valid driver’s license.
– Must be 35 years old or younger, unemployed, and not have previously worked in their field of study or participated in an internship.
