What You’ll Do

  • Oversee Human Resource Management and Administration services, including leave, housing, and pension management.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection processes to ensure timely and efficient hiring.
  • Maintain comprehensive HR personnel records and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Implement and administer bursaries, internships, and training interventions for staff development.
  • Develop and execute the Workplace Skills Plan and Performance Management Systems.
  • Coordinate organizational development initiatives, including job evaluations and change management.
  • Facilitate Human Resource Planning and Employment Equity services, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.
  • Promote Employee Health and Wellness programs, including health productivity and safety initiatives.
  • Provide advisory services on all employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary procedures.
  • Manage all resources related to Human Resources, ensuring optimal use and compliance.

What You’ll Need

  • Matric/Grade 12 and a recognized 3-year National Diploma in Human Resources Management or a 4-year Degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Human Resource Management environment, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Post Degree qualifications will be advantageous.
  • PERSAL Certificates and proven computer literacy in MS Office applications.
  • A valid Driver’s License.
  • Strong knowledge of public service legislation and HR policies related to Human Resource Management.
  • In-depth understanding of employee wellness, BCEA, LRA, EEA, and compliance requirements.
