What You’ll Do

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to fill vacancies with qualified candidates.
  • Oversee appointments, transfers, and terminations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Implement and manage various employee benefits and conditions of service, including leave management and pension plans.
  • Use the PERSAL system to capture, recommend, and approve HR transactions efficiently.
  • Facilitate the performance management and development system for continuous employee growth.
  • Develop and implement human resource development strategies and plans.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on human resource statistics and matters.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum of a National Diploma (NQF Level 06) in Human Resource Management or Development.
  • At least two years of experience in a Human Resources Management and Development environment.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and the PERSAL and e-Leave management systems.
  • Strong people management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of public service prescripts, laws, and relevant human resource policies.
