What You’ll Do
- Facilitate recruitment and selection processes, including advertising and appointments.
- Conduct verification of qualifications and manage secretariat functions at interviews.
- Implement and manage conditions of service such as leave, housing, and medical benefits.
- Oversee performance management and handle termination of service procedures.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding HR matters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing records for HR personnel.
- Compile reports on the movement of personnel files.
What You’ll Need
- Senior/Grade 12 Certificate or a relevant qualification.
- Knowledge of Human Resources functions and practices.
- Ability to capture data accurately and operate computer systems.
- Basic understanding of financial operating systems, particularly PERSAL.
- Familiarity with registry duties and legislative frameworks governing public service.
- Strong communication skills and a client-oriented approach.
- Flexibility and basic problem-solving abilities.
- Competence in planning and organizing tasks effectively.

Requirements

Job Duties
Facilitate recruitment and selection (advertisement, appointments, transfer, verification of qualifications, secretariat functions at interviews, absorptions, probationary period’s e.g.
).
Implement conditions of service (leave, housing, medical, pension, allowances, PILIR or etc).
Performance management.
Termination of service.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to recruitment and selection.
Implement termination of services.
Implement appointments on HR System (PERSAL).
Keep filing records up to date.
Keep filing system of HR personnel updated.
Ensure that personal files of employees are issued to relevant managers on request.
Ensure that files are received back as per HR policies.
Compile reports of the movement of personnel files.
