What You’ll Do

• Provide thorough housekeeping and cleaning services in designated areas of the hospital
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in restrooms, bathrooms, and other critical areas
• Dispose of garbage properly and maintain tidiness throughout the facility
• Clean kitchen utensils and equipment, ensuring they are kept in good condition
• Monitor and control stock levels of cleaning materials and utensils
• Safeguard cleaning equipment and ensure it remains in efficient working order
• Report any equipment that requires repair or replacement
• Implement basic security measures to protect the facility
• Perform simple maintenance tasks as needed and in compliance with safety regulations
• Assess hygiene conditions in the building and identify potential issues

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent)
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
