What You’ll Do

• Provide thorough housekeeping and cleaning services to maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas.
• Ensure the proper disposal of garbage and maintain hygiene in restrooms and bathrooms.
• Perform cleaning duties such as washing, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sweeping.
• Clean kitchen utensils and equipment, ensuring they are safe and sanitized.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and report any shortages or damaged equipment.
• Safeguard cleaning equipment and implement security measures within the hospital.
• Monitor for hazards and ensure compliance with fire and electricity safety standards.
• Address simple maintenance repairs promptly and adhere to hygiene regulations.

What You’ll Need

• NQF level 1 or 2 (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physical strength to meet the physical demands of the role.
• Reliability and honesty in all tasks performed.
