What You’ll Do
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient wards and communal areas.
- Serve meals and refreshments to patients and staff.
- Handle and remove waste in accordance with health regulations.
- Support supervisors in daily operational tasks.
- Utilize resources effectively to ensure efficient service delivery.
What You’ll Need
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Recognizable experience in cleaning, linen management, and food handling.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
- Flexibility to work shifts on weekends, public holidays, and at night.
- Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Basic literacy and numeracy.Experience: Appropriate / recognisable experience in cleaning, linen management and handling of food.
Inherent requirements of the job: Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and supplies.
Render a shift service on weekends, public holidays, day and night and duties and rotate in different departments according to operational needs and requirements.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Incumbent must have the ability to mix cleaning fluids, count and calculate linen supply.
