What You’ll Do

  • Conduct mechanical maintenance on bulk water infrastructure and construction equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Keep job cards up to date, documenting all maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Supervise and guide a team of subordinates in daily tasks and projects.
  • Report any irregularities in accordance with scheme regulations.
  • Maintain and repair minor electrical equipment as needed.

What You’ll Need

  • An ABET Certificate.
  • Up to 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance.
  • A valid unexpired driver’s license is an added advantage.
  • Basic computer literacy and technical knowledge of equipment inspections.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and conflict management skills.
  • Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, PMDS, and PFMA.
