What You’ll Do
- Conduct mechanical maintenance on bulk water infrastructure and construction equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Keep job cards up to date, documenting all maintenance activities and repairs.
- Supervise and guide a team of subordinates in daily tasks and projects.
- Report any irregularities in accordance with scheme regulations.
- Maintain and repair minor electrical equipment as needed.
What You’ll Need
- An ABET Certificate.
- Up to 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance.
- A valid unexpired driver’s license is an added advantage.
- Basic computer literacy and technical knowledge of equipment inspections.
- Strong planning, organizing, and conflict management skills.
- Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, PMDS, and PFMA.
