What You’ll Do

  • Conduct routine electrical maintenance and inspections on bulk water supply systems and construction equipment
  • Perform essential repairs on minor electrical equipment to ensure optimal functionality
  • Supervise and guide subordinates to maintain high standards of work and safety
  • Keep accurate job cards updated, reflecting all maintenance activities
  • Report any irregularities in accordance with scheme regulations to ensure compliance and safety
  • Assist in planning and implementing maintenance schedules for electrical systems

What You’ll Need

  • An ABET Certificate is required for this role
  • Between 0 to 1 year of experience in electrical maintenance
  • A valid unexpired driver’s license will be an added advantage
  • Basic computer literacy is preferred
  • Technical knowledge in routine inspection of equipment
  • Good planning and organizing skills for effective maintenance operations
  • Understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, PMDS, and PFMA
