What You’ll Do
- Conduct routine electrical maintenance and inspections on bulk water supply systems and construction equipment
- Perform essential repairs on minor electrical equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Supervise and guide subordinates to maintain high standards of work and safety
- Keep accurate job cards updated, reflecting all maintenance activities
- Report any irregularities in accordance with scheme regulations to ensure compliance and safety
- Assist in planning and implementing maintenance schedules for electrical systems
What You’ll Need
- An ABET Certificate is required for this role
- Between 0 to 1 year of experience in electrical maintenance
- A valid unexpired driver’s license will be an added advantage
- Basic computer literacy is preferred
- Technical knowledge in routine inspection of equipment
- Good planning and organizing skills for effective maintenance operations
- Understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, PMDS, and PFMA
