What You’ll Do

  • Support the development and implementation of fire and rescue service plans
  • Evaluate and monitor existing fire safety programs and strategies
  • Coordinate capacity-building programs in fire safety for municipalities
  • Assist in establishing intergovernmental structures related to fire and rescue services
  • Provide technical support to ensure compliance with national and provincial regulations

What You’ll Need

  • A National Diploma (NQF 6) in Fire Technology recognized by SAQA
  • At least 2 years of experience in Fire and Rescue services
  • A valid C1 Driver’s Licence
  • Strong knowledge of the Disaster Management Act and Fire Brigade Act
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage documents effectively
