About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
As a Fire Fighter Intern, you will:
– Respond to daily tasks from the Station Officer.
– Conduct routine checks and maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
– Assist in firefighting and rescue operations.
– Attend emergency incidents and perform control room duties as needed.
– Follow all commands during emergency scenes and carry out additional duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
– Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
– Fire Fighter 1 & 2 with Hazmat Awareness and Operations.
– First Aid Level 3 or Basic Ambulance Course.
– Valid Code C Driver’s License.
– Medical and physical fitness, swimming ability, and no phobias such as claustrophobia or acrophobia.
– Knowledge or experience in fire and rescue is advantageous.
– Hardworking and self-disciplined nature.
