About the Opportunity
Join the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) for a comprehensive 24-month Finance Internship Programme designed to equip unemployed South African graduates with practical workplace experience. This programme is exclusively available to those who have never participated in an internship before, offering a monthly stipend of R9,306.18.

Key Responsibilities
As a finance intern, you will report to the Finance Manager and engage in a variety of tasks including processing invoices and electronic payments, performing creditors’ statement reconciliations, and supporting financial internal controls. You will also handle general administration within the finance environment and perform other delegated functions.

Requirements/Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Grade 12/Matric and a National Diploma or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 6 in Financial Accounting. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent at NQF Level 7 in Financial and Accounting is advantageous. Applicants should demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a proactive attitude.
