About the Role
The Hanover Park Community Health Centre is seeking a dedicated Facility Manager to enhance its primary health care services within the Klipfontein geographic area, located in Cape Town, South Africa. What You’ll Do
- Oversee the management of primary health care services and community-based initiatives.
- Coordinate strategic and operational planning within the designated geographic area.
- Manage financial resources, supply chain, and human resources effectively.
- Ensure high-quality management of health services, including occupational health and safety standards.
- Engage with community stakeholders and foster collaboration for improved health outcomes.
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate staff training and development.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant three-year National Diploma or Degree.
- Proven managerial experience in an NGO, private sector, or state organization.
- A valid Code B/EB driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the area.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in health management.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships effectively.
- Knowledge of public health sector regulations, legislation, and policies.
- Proficiency in computer applications relevant to health management.

Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Appropriate three-year National Diploma or Degree.Experience: Appropriate experience in a managerial position in a NGO, private organisation or the state sector.
Inherent requirements of the job: Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
Willingness to travel in the Sub-structure to consult clients, attend and conduct meetings and training sessions.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Leadership abilities within health management experience.
Good interpersonal and people management skills.
Knowledge of Public Health Sector regulations, legislation and policies, Corporate services, Supply chain management, Human Resource and Labour Relations management.
Computer literacy.
Job Duties
Management of a Primary Health Care service (including community- based services) and Community Orientated Primary Care (COPC) within the Klipfontein geographic area.Strategic, operational planning and coordination and management of the service for the designated geographic area.

Quality management, 178 Occupational Health and Safety and Infection control prevention in the primary health care service within the designated geographic area.
Manage the relevant community and other appropriate stakeholder engagements, liaison and networking.
