What You’ll Do

  • Assist engineers and technologists in various technical activities in the field, workshop, and office.
  • Promote safety practices in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate construction and maintenance activities to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Provide input into the budgeting process for infrastructure projects as needed.
  • Compile and submit reports related to ongoing projects.
  • Develop and maintain technical databases to streamline project management.
  • Supervise and manage technical personnel and assets effectively.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Senior Certificate and an appropriate National Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of post-qualification technical experience.
  • Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technician.
  • A valid driver’s license to facilitate work-related travel.
  • Strong knowledge in project management, technical design, and legal compliance.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided engineering applications and technical consulting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and people management abilities.
  • Capable of planning, organizing, and writing technical reports effectively.
