About the Opportunity

EASTC Technocentric Varsity, in partnership with MICTSETA, offers a comprehensive learnership designed to provide unemployed youth with foundational ICT skills and workplace readiness. This NQF Level 3 programme is a stepping stone into the fields of administration, IT support, and office-based roles, with a monthly stipend of R2,500.

Key Responsibilities

Participants will develop practical skills in Microsoft Office applications, data capturing, document management, basic IT support, workplace communication systems, internet tools, and cybersecurity awareness.

Requirements/Qualifications

To be eligible, applicants must:
– Possess a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
– Be a South African citizen
– Be under the age of 35
– Be currently unemployed
– Not be enrolled in any other programme
– Reside in Tembisa or Kempton Park

Benefits

Learners will receive a stipend of R2,500 per month and gain valuable skills for entry-level roles such as Administration Clerk, Receptionist, Data Capturer, Office Assistant, Call Centre Agent, and Junior IT Support Assistant.
