About the Role
The North West Provincial Treasury is seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Director: Supply Chain and Fleet Management at their Head Office in Mahikeng. What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic leadership in Supply Chain, Asset, and Fleet Management functions.
- Develop and execute strategic objectives and business plans for the unit.
- Manage organizational capacity to meet core operational requirements.
- Oversee performance management to ensure quality service delivery.
- Ensure effective financial and human resource management.
- Implement Supply Chain Management and asset management legislation and regulations.
- Develop internal control procedures to manage risks effectively.
- Establish sound contract management systems.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, Economics, Auditing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at a middle or senior management level.
- Knowledge and experience in Supply Chain, Asset, and Fleet management.
- Proficiency in computer applications and experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects effectively.
