What You’ll Do
- Manage investment strategies and initiatives for SOEs to ensure financial sustainability.
- Conduct research and analysis on local and international investment guidelines.
- Establish a capital structuring governance framework aligned with government policies.
- Oversee the assessment of CAPEX projects, mergers, and acquisitions for financial viability.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of capital structuring strategies and projects.
- Facilitate appropriate funding for Telecommunications & IT Sector SOEs.
- Analyze financial reports to ensure accountability and compliance with financial standards.
- Assist the Minister in executing oversight responsibilities over the BBBEE Council.
- Contribute to strategic functional leadership and operational excellence.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate NQF level 7 qualification in Accounting, Financial Management, Economics, Finance, or a relevant equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a Business Investment environment at a middle or senior managerial level.
- Advanced skills in strategic capability and leadership, government processes, and people management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial management and risk assessment.
- Technical competencies in transaction structuring, financial reporting, budgeting, and project finance.
