What You’ll Do

• Manage investment strategies and initiatives for SOEs to ensure financial sustainability.
• Conduct research and analysis on local and international investment guidelines.
• Establish a capital structuring governance framework aligned with government policies.
• Oversee the assessment of CAPEX projects, mergers, and acquisitions for financial viability.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of capital structuring strategies and projects.
• Facilitate appropriate funding for Telecommunications & IT Sector SOEs.
• Analyze financial reports to ensure accountability and compliance with financial standards.
• Assist the Minister in executing oversight responsibilities over the BBBEE Council.
• Contribute to strategic functional leadership and operational excellence.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate NQF level 7 qualification in Accounting, Financial Management, Economics, Finance, or a relevant equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in a Business Investment environment at a middle or senior managerial level.
• Advanced skills in strategic capability and leadership, government processes, and people management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial management and risk assessment.
• Technical competencies in transaction structuring, financial reporting, budgeting, and project finance.
