What You’ll Do

  • Provide quality assurance for submissions related to land claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with set standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and implement effective control systems for financial and operational processes.
  • Manage project methodologies related to land claims while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Oversee the procurement function and coordinate with Shared Services Centre for supply chain management.
  • Respond to audit findings and manage compliance issues, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken.
  • Consolidate reports for management meetings and coordinate the preparation of quality-assured reports as per operational plans.
  • Ensure effective risk management and internal controls to promote sound financial management practices.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Public Administration, Business Management, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Internal Audit (NQF Level 7).
  • A Nyukela certificate (Pre-entry Certificate to the SMS) must be submitted prior to appointment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a middle to senior managerial role, specifically in Quality Assurance, Finance, Internal Audit, or Public Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management processes, supply chain management, and risk management legislation.
  • Proven managerial, supervisory, and project management skills, with excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s licence are essential.
