What You’ll Do

  • Manage and govern the Provincial Infrastructure Coordination Frameworks.
  • Direct the development of infrastructure governance frameworks and protocols.
  • Advise governance structures on coordination improvements and performance.
  • Champion intergovernmental coordination for better infrastructure delivery planning.
  • Oversee continuous improvement of governance frameworks to enhance accountability.
  • Facilitate informed decision-making through integrated reporting and analysis.
  • Lead the resolution of infrastructure delivery bottlenecks for strategic projects.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure information and reporting systems.
  • Ensure the integrity and accessibility of infrastructure data for decision-making.
  • Manage resources effectively, ensuring quality and timeliness of outputs.

What You’ll Need

  • National Senior Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree (NQF level 7) in a relevant field such as Developmental Studies, Public Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience at a middle or senior managerial level in an infrastructure environment.
  • Pre-entry certificate for the Senior Management Service (Nyukela) is compulsory.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • In-depth knowledge of public service legislation and the South African infrastructure landscape.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle costing and asset management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and report writing skills.
