What You’ll Do

• Manage and optimise state properties to ensure efficient utilisation.
• Provide expert advice on strategic investment decisions through valuation methodologies and market analysis.
• Lead property research initiatives to identify and assess investment opportunities.
• Oversee feasibility assessments for sustainable revenue-generating property developments.
• Develop innovative frameworks to enhance revenue generation across the state portfolio.
• Facilitate partnerships with property developers and investors for economic improvement.
• Monitor portfolio performance to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
• Lead the development of policies and guidelines regulating property investment and development.

What You’ll Need

• National Senior Certificate and a Bachelor’s degree in Property Studies/Real Estate (NQF level 7).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a middle to senior managerial role.
• Pre-entry certificate for the Senior Management Service (Nyukela) is mandatory.
• A valid driver’s licence is required.
• In-depth knowledge of public service legislation and compliance frameworks.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic management skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage resources effectively.
