What You’ll Do

  • Monitor compliance with Treasury Regulations and financial standards.
  • Conduct assessments on finance and supply chain systems to identify non-compliance.
  • Develop frameworks for financial and supply chain risk assessments.
  • Coordinate audits with Internal Audit and the Auditor-General’s office.
  • Manage fraud prevention and loss management initiatives.
  • Provide monthly reports on irregular and wasteful expenditure to National Treasury.
  • Oversee the implementation of compliance programs and performance information management.
  • Manage human resources, finances, and asset allocation.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) in Finance, Auditing, or Supply Chain Management.
  • A certificate for entry into the Senior Management Services from the National School of Government (NSG).
  • A minimum of five years’ experience at a middle or senior managerial level in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in computer applications relevant to financial management.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Strong knowledge of the South African Criminal Justice System and public service policy frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, strategic leadership, and project management skills.
