What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the financial management of various funds, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Assist in the establishment of regional clubs and set up trading points to enhance community services.
  • Manage the widow and orphan fund, ensuring it meets the needs of its beneficiaries.
  • Lead modernization projects for financial agreements to improve fund efficiency.
  • Prepare quarterly reports for the board of trustees regarding strategic issues and developments.
  • Train treasurers on applicable finance systems and general financial management.
  • Ensure effective risk management and compliance with the risk management plan.
  • Manage human resources, finances, and assets related to the funds.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) in Public Administration, Business Management, Administration, or equivalent.
  • A certificate for entry into the Senior Management Services (SMS) from the National School of Government (NSG).
  • Five years of experience at a middle/senior managerial level in a similar environment.
  • Strong computer literacy and a valid driver’s license.
  • In-depth understanding of the Justice Cluster dynamics and relevant public service policies.
  • Excellent strategic capability, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in financial management and project management.
