What You’ll Do

• Establish and implement ICT strategies and technical policy procedures.
• Manage and support the telecommunications environment, including both landline and mobile networks.
• Oversee the national integrated voice network (VOIP) operations.
• Design and manage shared data and Access Point Networks (APN).
• Ensure cybersecurity operations are effectively managed within the department.
• Supervise all resources within the Sub-Directorate to optimize performance.

What You’ll Need

• A qualification at NQF level 6 in Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, or Information Science.
• Five years of functional experience in the ICT/IT environment.
• Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and departmental policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with Cobit/ITIL Fundamentals, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and CompTIA CySA+ is advantageous.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and strategic management skills.
