What You’ll Do
- Establish and implement ICT strategies and technical policy procedures.
- Manage and support the telecommunications environment, including both landline and mobile networks.
- Oversee the national integrated voice network (VOIP) operations.
- Design and manage shared data and Access Point Networks (APN).
- Ensure cybersecurity operations are effectively managed within the department.
- Supervise all resources within the Sub-Directorate to optimize performance.
What You’ll Need
- A qualification at NQF level 6 in Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, or Information Science.
- Five years of functional experience in the ICT/IT environment.
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and departmental policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with Cobit/ITIL Fundamentals, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and CompTIA CySA+ is advantageous.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and strategic management skills.
