What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage the Finance Component, ensuring effective financial strategies are in place.
  • Oversee Supply Chain Management, including demand planning, acquisition, and asset management.
  • Manage budget planning, allocation, monitoring, and control of expenditures.
  • Implement and support Functional Business Units (FBUs) within the hospital.
  • Supervise patient administration processes, including billing and revenue management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies, including the PFMA.
  • Participate in institutional information management and statutory reporting.
  • Develop and manage a high-performing finance team, fostering professional growth and discipline.
  • Advise senior management and the Hospital Facility Board on financial matters.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Financial Management, Commerce, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Relevant experience in financial management and expenditure control, especially relating to PFMA and Treasury Instructions.
  • Proven expertise in Supply Chain Management, including demand and contract management.
  • Experience in patient administration, revenue management, and medical records governance.
  • Strong supervisory and managerial skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and compliance frameworks, including the preparation of Annual Financial Statements.
  • A valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
  • Excellent analytical skills, computer literacy in MS Office, and the ability to thrive in a high-demand environment.
