What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage Oracle database systems, ensuring effective planning and design.
- Define new and existing physical data and create programs for data creation.
- Migrate and maintain deeds databases in a cloud environment.
- Monitor database usage and performance, tuning databases for optimal efficiency.
- Implement security measures and handle backup and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with developers to address program queries and educate them on database structures.
- Ensure synchronization of databases across development, testing, and production environments.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (NQF Level 6).
- A minimum of 3 years of junior management experience in Oracle database administration.
- Knowledge of database software installation, maintenance, and capacity planning.
- Skills in technical report writing, presentation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to work after hours as needed.
