What You’ll Do

• Design and implement advanced GISc analyses to support strategic objectives.
• Maintain the effectiveness of the GIS unit and ensure its alignment with departmental goals.
• Provide governance services related to spatial data management and analysis.
• Oversee project and financial management to ensure successful completion of GIS initiatives.
• Address and manage stakeholder issues effectively to enhance collaboration and service delivery.

What You’ll Need

• Matric certificate and an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in GIS, as recognized by SAQA.
• A minimum of three years of post-qualification GISc professional experience.
• Valid driver’s license and compulsory registration with the PLATO.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation governing public services such as PAIA, SPLUMA, and PFMA.
• Strong competencies in project management, financial management, and stakeholder engagement.
