What You’ll Do

• Provide expert medical care to patients in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
• Manage and oversee the treatment of patients in a level 2/3 facility.
• Participate in academic and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Conduct clinical audits and engage in continuous professional development activities.
• Collaborate with hospital management to maintain high standards of patient care and services.
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews and participate in the Performance Management and Development System.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualifications for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Cardiology.
• Valid work permit for non-South African applicants.
• Sound knowledge of medical ethics and multidisciplinary management.
• Experience in the relevant medical discipline with varying years of experience based on grade (Grade 1: Less than 5 years, Grade 2: 5-10 years, Grade 3: 10+ years).
• Competency in clinical assessment, management, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
