What You’ll Do

  • Manage and oversee the care of patients admitted to the hospital, focusing on level 2/3 service packages.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in academic and training programs, contributing to the professional development of staff and junior medical personnel.
  • Conduct clinical audits to ensure adherence to health standards and improve patient care quality.
  • Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with the latest practices and regulations in healthcare.
  • Support hospital management in maintaining efficient service delivery and high standards of patient care.
  • Comply with the Performance Management and Development System, including conducting quarterly reviews.

What You’ll Need

  • Appropriate qualifications for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Prosthodontics.
  • A valid work permit for non-South African applicants.
  • Knowledge of medical ethics and current health regulations.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary management and teamwork within a medical context.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and in diverse teams.
  • Capacity to teach and mentor junior staff in clinical settings.
