The Department of Infrastructure is seeking a dedicated Construction Project Manager Grade A, based in the beautiful city of Mbombela (formerly known as Nelspruit). What You’ll Do
- Manage infrastructure program and project planning in accordance with IDMS.
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of infrastructure projects.
- Lead the commissioning of infrastructure projects to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Conduct evaluations of infrastructure programs and projects to assess effectiveness.
- Engage in research and literature studies to stay updated on new technologies and practices.
- Collaborate with relevant professional boards and councils to enhance project outcomes.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) and an NQF Level 7 qualification in a Built Environment field as recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification experience as a Professional Construction Project Manager.
- Current registration with the South African Council for Project and Management Professions (SACPCMP) as a Professional Construction Project Manager.
- A valid driver’s license and proficiency in computer literacy.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards in the construction industry.

Senior Certificate / Grade 12 plus (NQF Level 7) in Built Environment Field as recognized by SAQA.Three (3) years post qualification experience required as a Professional Construction Project Manager with South African Council for Project and Management Professions (SACPCMP).
Compulsory Three (3) years’ experience as a registered professional with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager.
