What You’ll Do
- Maintain high hygiene standards within assigned SAPS premises, both internally and externally.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, polishing furniture, and vacuuming carpets.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Safeguard and manage a range of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Handle refuse removal and maintenance tasks as required.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of cleaning goods and state vehicles.
What You’ll Need
- Competency in the core functions of the cleaning role.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- A valid South African citizenship with proof required during the interview.
- ABET Level 4/Grade 9/Standard 7/NQF Level 1 certification or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of cleaning protocols and occupational health and safety.
- Good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate basic cleaning machines and equipment, with a willingness to work extended hours if necessary.
