What You’ll Do
- Welcome children and youth beneficiaries upon admission into care facilities.
- Ensure beneficiaries receive necessary medical services promptly.
- Assist in the implementation of therapeutic and developmental activities.
- Engage in life space work to promote the personal growth of children and youth.
- Handle relevant administrative tasks related to the role.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate NQF Level 4 qualification in Child and Youth Care Work, or a Grade 12 certificate with relevant experience.
- Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a Child and Youth Care Worker.
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to relate to children and youth with sensitivity.
- A valid driver’s license is essential for this role.
