What You’ll Do

• Welcome children and youth beneficiaries upon admission into care facilities.
• Ensure beneficiaries receive necessary medical services promptly.
• Assist in the implementation of therapeutic and developmental activities.
• Engage in life space work to promote the personal growth of children and youth.
• Handle relevant administrative tasks related to the role.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate NQF Level 4 qualification in Child and Youth Care Work, or a Grade 12 certificate with relevant experience.
• Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a Child and Youth Care Worker.
• Strong mentoring skills with the ability to relate to children and youth with sensitivity.
• A valid driver’s license is essential for this role.
