The Chief Director of Traditional Institutional Management plays a crucial role in the Head Office, located in Mmabatho, South Africa. What You’ll Do
- Administer the provision of traditional institutional and resource administration services.
- Oversee the implementation of anthropology and indigenous information management.
- Manage initiation school services and support traditional leaders with secretariat functions.
- Coordinate traditional councils and provide governance and rural development support.
- Ensure financial administration services are effectively managed for traditional institutions.
What You’ll Need
- Matric or Grade 12, along with a Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 7) in relevant fields such as Public Administration, Public Management, or Social Sciences.
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a Senior Managerial role.
- Nyukela SMS Pre-Entry Certificate submitted before appointment.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Comprehensive knowledge of customary law and various legislative frameworks related to traditional governance.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, decision-making, conflict resolution, and leadership.

Requirements
Matric / Grade 12 / Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 7) in Public Administration / Public Management / Public Governance / Business Administration / Management / Development Studies / Political Science/Law / Social Sciences/ Anthropology as recognized by SAQA.Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience at Senior Managerial level.
